 Kamala Private Game
Reserve is located in the Eastern Cape province
of South Africa only 10km from the quaint village of
Somerset East. The Eastern Cape Province of
South Africa is in the south east bordered by
the Indian Ocean in the south and the
Drakensberg Mountain Range in the north.
Somerset East is situated at the foot of the Boschberg mountain range. The town serves the
local farming community and is known for it's
natural beauty, many national monument buildings
and a large collection of paintings by renowned
artist Walter Batiss.

flights connecting these cities with Port
Elizabeth and chartered flights can be arranged
to Somerset East 14km from the game reserve.
By Road
From Port Elizabeth take
the N2 for 40km to Grahamstown, branch left onto
the N10 to Cradock. Travel 100km, turn left to
Somerset East for 25km joining the R63. Continue
through Somerset East for 15km on the Graaff
Reinet road. Turn right to Cradock and travel
300m to the Kamala gate on the right.
